Situated in the heart of a one-hectare estate, surrounded by terraces, olive trees, and Mediterranean plants, the Bastide Saint-Honorat is a house full of history, built in the 17th century by the monks of Saint-Honorat Island.
Saint-Honorat Island, one of the two Lérins Islands facing Cannes, is a place of meditation and culture for the monks, who cultivate vines and have turned it into a peaceful sanctuary, ideal for contemplation and rejuvenation. Today, the recently renovated Bastide preserves this spirit of authenticity and tranquility, blending old-world charm with modern comfort.
Ideally located on the heights of Cannes, just five minutes from the center of Grasse, the world capital of perfume, our Bastide offers a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean, stretching from Nice to the Esterel mountains.
The Bastide offers five spacious and comfortable suites, each with an incredible view of the sea, Cannes, and the hills of Grasse. Three suites are located in the main Bastide, while two Bastidons provide an equally stunning view in a more intimate setting.

For nature lovers, a hiking trail starts directly from the Bastide, inviting you to explore the region’s untamed beauty.
Our eco-friendly approach, aimed at making our stay more respectful of our planet, is reflected in every aspect of our property: no plastic, photovoltaic panels for clean energy, and careful water management.
Breakfast is a true celebration of local flavors, featuring regionally grown and produced items: jams, honey, cheeses, carefully selected to respect the environment while offering an authentic taste experience.
My story
Originally from Grasse, I’ve had the privilege of living in several places around the world: the United States, Switzerland, and Italy. But here, in this Bastide, I felt a deep connection. A homecoming, a place that brings together my love for this region and my desire to share an unforgettable experience with you.
After studying at a prestigious Swiss Management School, I worked for many years in the hotel and event industry. Yet, one dream never left me: opening a guesthouse. I fell in love with the Bastide, left Italy, where I had lived for many years, to settle here in Grasse and embark on this project.
When I discovered the Bastide Saint-Honorat, I was immediately captivated by its history, its authentic architecture, and its exceptional location, between the sea and the fragrant hills. But beyond its undeniable charm, it needed a true revival.
This renovation project was driven by a strong desire: to preserve the soul of this historic residence while giving it a new, more modern and refined life. The talented architect Mélanie Gonin (www.melaniegonin.fr) perfectly fulfilled this vision.
Every stone, beam, and archway tell the story of the monks of Saint-Honorat Island who built this house centuries ago. We chose to honor its heritage, preserving noble materials and carefully restoring its original elements while integrating contemporary touches to provide absolute comfort for our guests.
The renovation was designed with an ecological and sustainable mindset, featuring photvoltaic panels, the use of local materials, and the implementation of responsible practices, ensuring that this bastide can endure through time in harmony with its environment.
Today, the Bastide Saint-Honorat is reborn, ready to welcome guests in a setting where history, nature, and the Provençal way of life unite for a unique experience.
